To ensure the freshness and longevity of your unprocessed wholesale flowers, please follow this page for aftercare instructions for wholesale flowers.

To ensure freshness for your bouquets/arrangements, only re-cut the stems by 1/2 inch.

How to process your wholesale flowers

Prepare some clean buckets to store your flowers in. Fill with 4 inches of clean water (room temperature).

There is no need to put any flower food in the water.

Cut 1/2 - 1 inch of the stem off from the fresh flowers. If you do not plan on using the flowers within 4-5 days, you can re-cut the stems to ensure the flowers can adequately drink up water required to stay fresh.

Remove ALL the leaves off the flower stems to ensure longevity of the cut flowers.

Make sure there are no leaves touching the water in the bucket to prevent bacteria growth.

How to store your fresh cut flowers

Avoid exposing flowers to extreme temperatures (hot or cold). Immediately bring your flowers indoors upon arrival and process them as soon as possible (within 1-2 days of receiving them). Maintain a storage area temperature of 40°F/4°C if possible. If the weather is cool outdoors you can keep the flowers outside but DO NOT place them where you have direct sunlight. Keep them in a shaded, non-windy, covered area away from direct sunlight. Alternatively, you can store them in a basement if you have one because that would probably be the coolest space inside your home.
